I hear the words “I’ve a Problem Gambling and now I lost everything I worked for” everyday from people around the globe through their emails. I’m amazed that only a year ago things seem to be less dramatic then they are today when it comes to gambling addictions. The accelerated growth in this addiction is paralleled to the growth in the gaming industry. An important quantity of our population has now been exposed to this industry.

Now that folks are hooked on gambling, what should we do? This is a very difficult question to answer but I believe education and awareness to simply help those inflicted with this particular hideous addiction.

I’ve received several emails from people who believe their solutions would help decrease the accelerated growth of those hooked on gambling. The following are samples of those emails:

Outlaw all kinds of gambling.메이저사이트

Regulate the gaming industry

Remove all ATM machines from gambling establishments especially casinos that have slot machines.

No check cashing at the casinos

No alcohol allowed in casinos

Gambling establishments shouldn’t be permitted to use the postal service to send incentives for people to come calmly to their place to gamble.

No large billboard advertising.

No commercials or sponsoring of the area news.

The aforementioned email comments are from those to have suffered as a result of gambling. It’s not just the gambler but their family and friends who have also been negatively affected.

Remember these words “I have trouble gambling and I’ve lost everything I worked for”, because this might be you. In the event that you have even the slightest notion you have trouble gambling, face it straight on and you have an opportunity to recover when you lose everything you have worked so very hard for.

If you should be one of the ones who have lost everything, you can rebuild your lifetime and move forward. You can find so many individuals who have walked in your shoes. I am aware this is very painful, but each day can get brighter and brighter.

The good thing is there is hope for people to recoup from this addiction.

Mr. Howard Keith has a thorough background in coping with compulsive gamblers, relatives, and friends of gamblers and teenage gamblers. Mr. Keith believes there are lots of alternatives to assist in the recovery of a gambling addiction verses a twelve step program. A large percentage of his emails were from compulsive gamblers searching for an option to Gamblers Anonymous and twelve step programs. Gamblers Anonymous also helps an important number of people annually but there is a big percentage they cannot reach.
